Suhail Bahwan Group joins world community to observe Earth Hour

Muscat, Sultanate of Oman - 22 March 2016.

Suhail Bahwan Group joined the world community to observe Earth Hour 19 March by switching off all non-essential lights for one hour between 8.30 PM and 9.30 PM at its headquarters building Al Rawaq in Al Qurum.

In addition, all employees of the Group were asked to switch off their computers/laptops and other non-critical power connections before they left offices on 17 March itself. They were also urged to extend this gesture at their homes by switching off non-essentiallights for one hour.

Ms Amal Suhail Bahwan, Managing Director and Board Member of Suhail Bahwan Group, said, "Earth Hour is a worldwide movement to create social awareness on climate change by encouraging individuals, communities, households and corporates to switch off non-essential lights for one hour to save energy and help create a sustainable world."
