MEST recently arranged the transportation of the Longest Columns – the CO2 Absorber ( 63 x 7.52 x 7.31 Mtrs/ 291.5 Tonnes) & the Regenerator ( 49.45 x
6.45 x 6.75 Mtrs/ 361.6 Tonnes) under the contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries from the Sohar Port to the Sohar Fertlizer Project Site. These columns are a part many Heavy Lift Packages
weighting upto 445 Tonnes that have been handled for the project. MEST is undertaking the Complete Local Logistics for this Project including Customs Clearance and Transportation to site of all
types of consignments from the Ports / Airports in Oman as well as UAE (Muscat, Sohar, all ports in UAE). This adds another feather in the cap for MEST, which has an
impeccable record and prides itself in having handled most of the Mega Projects in Oman and almost all that has come up at the Sohar Industrial Port (SIPC) area. |
