ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Should be capable of handling medical laboratory & clinical diagnosis analyzers in  Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular, HPLC & Serology disciplines.
• Responsible for the installation, commissioning, service, breakdown calls, trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, repair and calibration of a wide range of high end medical laboratory analyzers.
• Work with internal resources and customers to resolve technical issues.
• To follow the safety standards as per the Ministry of Health and International guideline.
• To maintain the TAT/Down time as per the customer and Department requirement.
• To keep up highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain & update all service records of each analyzer.
• Capable to communicate with the principal time to time for the support, if any.
• Share the experience and technical knowledge with colleagues.

 

Experience:

 

• 5 to 7 years is a must, preferably with GCC working experience.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering (B.E./B.TECH) from a recognized university/college.

 

Technical Certification(s):

 

• Training certification from IVD manufacturers for the service trainings attended.
• Software installation background, technical certification on IVD analyzers.
• Preferably trained and experienced on Siemens Helathineers or BioRad Diagnostics analyzers (Atellica, Dimension, Centaur, Evolis, Variant, D10 Analyzers etc).

 

Other requirements:

 

• Ability to integrate with the sales team in planning and executing new projects.
• Excellent technical presentation skills.
• Should be conversant with oral and written communication in English.
• Omani/GCC driving license preferred.
