SUMMARY
Oversee and support day-to-day operations of computer systems and networks for Al Tomouh IT team in Kochi.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB PROFILE:
- Oversee and support day-to-day operations of computer systems and networks for Al Tomouh IT team in Kochi.
- Maintain systems and network infrastructure and assist in new rollouts.
- Ensure reliable performance and data integrity in local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Liaise with Muscat office and assist local users with daily support. (End-user computing, Server support and Software maintenance)
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Administration :-
- Responsible for Windows administration and Datacentre maintenance support.
- Configure and maintain Windows Server infrastructure (Domain, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2016 & 2019, Exchange 2016, Outlook, office 365, Windows 7/8/10 desktop/laptop, hosted environments (AWS, Azure) End point protection, Backup management (working knowledge of Veeam is an advantage)).
- Install, Configure and maintain VM infrastructure and Storage.
- Assists in local Project rollout/s (Datacentre/ Server, Virtualization & Network).
- Maintain and configure IP telephony system.
- Overseeing Network Inbound and Outbound Traffic and Threat Management.
- Maintain, oversee and verify IT asset locally.
- Assist the section head with projects and rollouts.
- Lead in maintaining the network operations with Routers; Switches and Firewall (working knowledge of Fortigate is an advantage).
Help Desk Support :-
- Logging in and resolving issues on LAN and WAN for users.
- End to end Help desk support and management.
- Domain user creation, mailbox creation & management.
- Application software installation, first /second level support and handholding.
- Addressing Day to day issues on functioning of computers, printers, scanner, plotters and other communication peripherals (IP, Mobil devices).
- Helpdesk support on internal and external Mail systems.
- Maintaining manuals of hardware and software products – Configuration and issuance of computers to new staff and users.
Qualifications :-
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or relevant.
- Certification in CCNA / CCNP
- ITIL Certification /others is an advantage
Experience :-
- 5 Years and above in the above areas.
